"PC Video Editor"
January 26, 2006 . . . Big Mike is trying to get the Pinnacle Studio Moviebox Deluxe Version 9 (USB 2.0) with the works. Then he will have to upgrade the software from version 9 to a Studio suite version 10 (or a more current version).
He will have to learn how to use the computer video editor. So he can edit for local station WBHS-34, DJMC Entertainment and more from his home at a price.
He does need to upgrade his computer to make the computer work correctly for the editor. What Mike knows so far is . . . . . have to upgrade video card with a bigger, with better video card and larger video memory. A external/internal hard drive just for video work only. Gonna need a internal DVD-RW or DVD-R player. Have to get a USB 2.0 port. Do not know what else he might need to have a smooth run.
Mike just got a 256 meg size memory. Now he has a brand new total of 512 megs of memory for the computer as of Sept. 28th, 2005.
Big Mike ran into a problem on January 23, 2006. Was using the Jasc Animation Shop 3. He was working on a animation for a DJ friend. Size was 1024 X 786 (pixal size). Effect length was 3.0 and 20 FPS. That would put it at 60 frames. The computer started to slow down a lot. If the computer is going to slow down with these settings. How in the world will a video editor work on this computer with 512 megs of memory and all? ANY IDEAS!!!
S-VHS Panasonic 555 and 550 at WBHS-34 is going and so is the JVC MX-50 special effect machine.
